What you get with this plan

The 2-screen plan covers the most common situation for couples and flatmates: two people who do not watch the same thing at the same time, in two different rooms. With a 1-screen plan, the second stream cuts off the first. Here, both run together.

One set of login details for the whole home. Each device keeps its own favorites and resume position; the TV guide (EPG), VOD and catch-up are the same on both screens.

To keep both rooms smooth, allow about 30 Mbps in HD (15 per screen), or 40 Mbps if one of the two screens is watching in 4K. With fibre the headroom is wide; on 4G, connect the main screen with an Ethernet cable.

What internet speed do two screens need at the same time?

Speeds add up: each HD screen needs 15 Mbps, and each 4K screen needs 25 Mbps. Measure the speed on the devices themselves, at the time you watch.

Technical guidelines valid whatever your internet provider. Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi is recommended; avoid the 2.4 GHz network for 4K.

Questions about this plan

Do both screens have to be in the same home?

The plan is intended for home use. The login details can be entered on several devices; two streams can run at the same time.

Do I need two different apps?

No. Each device uses the app that suits it (IBO Player, TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro…) with the same login details.

What if a screen starts in a third room?

The oldest stream is cut off. For three simultaneous streams, choose the 3-screen plan.

What internet speed do I need?

15 Mbps per HD screen, and 25 per 4K screen, at the same time. For two HD screens, aim for a real 30 Mbps, measured on the devices.

Can I move to 3 or 4 screens later?

Yes, at any time: we work out the difference for the remaining term and send you a payment link.
